2010 Tourism Industry Awards

The Fairways has been names as finalists in the bi-annual TIA awards. The awards focus on and celebrate inspirational achievements through the successful application of innovation. The winners will be announced in Auckland on 14 October which Stephan and Sarah will attend.

Away with the Fairways

This winter promotion 'Away with the Fairways' plays on the old adage 'Away with the Fairies'. However in Gaelic Folklore there are stories of humans who visited the homes of the Sidhe, the 'fairies' of Gaelic tradition. These people would stay with the fairies for what seemed like a few hours, but when the returned to the everyday world, they would find that many years had passed. And so it is at the Fairways, a night of two with us and you'll feel like you've been gone for eons.
